Power Rankings: Road Atlanta
We are only one day away from hitting the track once again in the Logitech G V8PRO Invitational, and it's time to take a look at where the field stands following an exciting and controversial night at Sebring.
The Logitech G V8PRO Series is heading into another important round of the championship, and all eyes are on the drivers most likely to perform well. Some drivers are coming in with strong recent form, while others have had success at this track before. A few will also be looking to bounce back after tough results at Sebring. With every race becoming more important, here are our Power Rankings for the drivers to watch in the next round of the championship.
#10 - Jake Moloney
It was an off night for Jake at Round 1. Qualifying 32nd was a pretty poor effort in what ended up being a very quick car. He recovered well to finish 17th but it was definitely still a miss for one of the more consistent drivers in the field. The #29 fared well at Road Atlanta in 2025 with finishes of 7th and 5th across the two races, Jake will be hoping to replicate that tomorrow night and get his season headed in the right direction.
#9 - Madison Down
Not much has to be said about why Madison has dropped to 9th on this list. Last time out was probably one of the worst nights in Madison’s storied career and he will be keen to put some points on the board this week. Not all that occurred was his fault, getting turned by Kuznetsov after an incredible drive through the field, but the incident and result in qualifying, in my opinion, is on the #77. TTR were strong here last year and Madison collected pole in race 1, this could be an opportunity for a quick reply for the 2023 Champion.
#8 - Brady Meyers
A very anonymous night for Brady at Sebring, very much out of the front pack battle but also clear of the midfield runners, the only highlight being a battle with O’Sullivan in the closing stages. Finishing first of the TTR cars and just ahead of Anderson, a solid night but overall not where the #22 would like to be. Top-5 would have to be the goal this week, maybe a hero lap in qualifying can get his season rolling here.
#7 - Damon Woods
Damon was another expected front runner who suffered from a bad qualifying session at Sebring. 21st isn’t the end of the world and is recoverable, but after being caught up in an incident with Lachlan Caple on lap 1, that was put to bed pretty quickly. It was an uphill battle majority of the night for the Dörr Esports driver, finishing a lowly 18th. Road Atlanta was one of Damon's worst rounds last season, being caught up in an incident with Luke Rosella in race 2 which saw him finish 22nd. Hopefully some better results are on the horizon this time in Georgia.
#6 - Luke Rosella
The biggest mover in the power rankings this round, up 4 spots. It was a classy performance in my eyes, executing the race very well and finishing right behind his leading teammates in Filsell and Gilliam. Everyone knows Luke is capable of podiums and race wins, we have seen it before, it's just about repeating and being consistently at the front. Was Sebring just another flash in the pan or can Luke back it up this week at Road Atlanta?
#5 - Joshua Anderson
A round that landed below expectation for Anderson in my view. Was not really competitive at any point and finished right behind his teammate Brady Meyers. Joshua has some credits in the bank with his performances last year, but it's safe to say both the #36 and TTR as a whole will be wanting to improve this week at Road Atlanta.
#4 - James Scott
A return to form which I expected coming into the season for James, 4th place a welcome result. The Chiefs/Eclipse alliance didn't quite have the speed for the LOBS cars but James made aggressive strategy calls and put himself in positions to compete, had some luck fallen his way. James showed a speed that hasn't been seen from him for a while, which makes you think he can be very competitive once again. Scott needs to back it up this week but he is definitely one to watch as the season continues.
#3 - Zach Rattray-White
Nothing incredible at Sebring for the #17. An early slowdown ruined any chance of challenging for the win, but Zach fought hard and finished in 5th. Not a bad result, especially with how far clear the LOBS cars were on pace. The Eclipse/Chiefs partnership were competitive at Road Atlanta last season and Zach looked strong in V8SCOPS on Sunday night, claiming a victory in race 2. It will be interesting to see where he stacks up on Wednesday.
#2 - Andrew Gilliam
A 2nd place to start the year for Andrew, definitely a good result, but still finding it hard to break through the wall which is his teammate in the #94. I don’t see the #201 dropping on this list anytime soon, but the question remains, can he actually challenge Filsell? Road Atlanta has always been one of Andrew’s stronger circuits, this is a golden opportunity to get a win on the board and prove to himself that he is a championship challenger in 2026.
#1 - Jarrad Filsell
Another dominant pole and race win for the champ. Fending off his teammates and giving the rest of the field an absolute thumping. There isn’t much left to say about the #94. In 2025, Road Atlanta was the beginning of what is now a 7-race win streak for Jarrad, highlighted by forcing a mistake out of Joshua Anderson to take the lead, then coming home to win in race 2. Qualifying will be a close affair around such a short lap, but unless Jarrad makes a significant error, I see 9 wins on the trot coming for Filsell on Wednesday night.
